SANTA ROSA CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS
Pre-School, Elementary and Academy -
In the fall of 1965, property was purchased at the
present location of the school on Chestnut Street in Milton. At that
time, the land was nothing but forest.
However, after a year of clearing land and building, students filed into the
main educational facility for opening day of school in the fall of 1967.
One by one, buildings began to rise from the sandy soil and by 1974 all of the
structures that are in use today were completed. Ninety acres of land with
baseball and soccer
fields, a junior-Olympic size swimming pool, a gymnasium and bathhouse facility,
and three playgrounds
are available to the students who attend. The campus, facilities, and
faculty and staff of Santa Rosa Christian School are a testament to the
providence and provision of God.
Santa Rosa Christian Learning Center -
Formerly the Merry-Go-Round
Learning Center for two and three year
olds,
this proven program now provides
quality instructional care for children ages three to four years.
The Learning Center is open
from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers affordable weekly rates. Professional,
loving care-givers provide
guidance and understanding while encouraging new challenges, developing
self-confidence, and building positive relationships in a warm Christian
atmosphere. Special attention is given to training in proper school habits, to
building good attitudes toward learning, and to laying a strong foundation in
the fundamentals on which
to build elementary school training. Our pre-school classrooms are equipped
with furniture and equipment designed for the pre-school age child. A spacious
playground provides safe, clean areas for play and physical education
activities.
