Lesson 3: Geography Study Concerning the Scriptures: The Architect of Geography
Psalm 24:1,2, The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
God is the great architect of the earth.
No architect designs without a purpose in mind.
Everything built is built to carry out a purpose.
Would the architect of the universe do otherwise?
Would the one who has so fashioned man for a particular purpose cause men and women to occupy a place without the same care he displayed in his making of man?
No, God has so fashioned the earth to promote His purpose.
The verse in Romans 8:28 that tells us that: …..we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose also applies to the earth that God has made.
Everything on and in and above this earth work together for good and work together to carry out God’s purpose.
So we ought to take some time to study God’s handiwork for he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
